Reshpu

Reshpu
Syrian god of lightning and thunderbolt worshipped in Egypt, depicted as a warrior with shield and spear in his left hand and a club in his right. Above his forehead projects a gazelle, presumably a symbol of his sovereignty over the desert. He is described as ‘Great God, Lord of Eternity, Prince of Everlastingness, Lord of Twofold Strength among the Company of Gods’, all titles borrowed from other gods.
